Privacy
In short: we set no cookies of our own, we do not ask for your details, and our statistics do not identify individuals.
What we do not do
- We have no accounts, no login and no newsletter.
- We set no tracking cookies of our own and use no advertising networks.
- We do not sell or share data with third parties.
Because we set no cookies that require consent, you will not see a cookie banner on this site. That is a consequence of the choice, not a way around it.
Statistics
We measure how many people visit which page using a cookieless analytics service. No unique identifier is stored on your device and no individual visitor is followed across sites or over time. We see counts per page, referring site and country — not who you are.
Outbound links to shops
When you click a button to a shop, you pass through our redirect address to that retailer's affiliate network. We record which offer was clicked, from which page and when, plus a coarse device class — phone, tablet or desktop. That is what we need to see which links work and which are dead. We store no IP address and nothing else that could identify you.
The affiliate network and the shop itself do set their own cookies at that moment, so a purchase can be attributed to our referral. We have no control over that, and their privacy policy applies from the moment you are on their site. See ouraffiliate policy for the context.
Hosting and log files
The site is static and served by a hosting provider that keeps standard technical logs for security and debugging. We do not use those logs for profiling.
Your rights
Because we store no personal data about visitors, there is usually nothing to access, correct or erase. If you have emailed us, we keep that message for as long as it takes to answer your question. You can have it deleted via the contact page.
